We were deeply saddened to cancel our 120th Anniversary Concert, but we are incredibly thankful for the support and understanding shown by our church venues. As a gesture of gratitude, we have offered to lend our voices and augment the choir at their upcoming Christmas Carol Services.
We are pleased to announce that St Michael and All Angels Church in Heavitree has warmly accepted our offer. Their Christmas Carol Service will take place on Sunday, 22nd December, from 6:00 to 7:00 pm, and we are inviting anyone with a passion for carol singing to join in and spread festive cheer.
The choir at St Michael and All Angels is small, and they would greatly appreciate additional singers. Whether you’re a seasoned performer or simply enjoy singing Christmas carols, you are very welcome to participate.
Rehearsals will be held on:
- Friday, 13th December, at 6:00 pm
- Friday, 20th December, at 6:00 pm
There is no obligation to attend both rehearsals, but it would be lovely to see you there. Following rehearsals, there’s even talk of heading to a local pub to enjoy a drink and some festive camaraderie.
Additionally, our committee is planning a special social event to share the festive spirit with the local community. Keep an eye out for more information on this in the coming weeks.
